Electronic Chuon Nath Khmer dictionary

Electronic Chuon Nath Khmer dictionary now available for free for Windows XP and Vista.

All lexicographic references are being typed or indexed, in order to create a corpus of Khmer references. Work will also start on the preparation of definitions that can be used in a future dictionary. The project also collaborates with the Southeast Asian Digital Library project (based in Thailand), who are preparing lexicographic research tools that will be a key to the project. A small Manual of Orthography is also developed, also in collaboration with the Buddhist Institute. A first deliverable of this project has been the first spell-checker for Khmer language, distributed by the Open Institute’s KhmerOS and Open Schools programs.

Local NGOs Fair in Chenla, Phnom Penh

KhmerOS also the project was in the fair of Open Forum of Cambodia for promoting Khmer Software. There were many organization at about 60 there for saling there products, but KhmerOS product is for free to the person who won the lucky draw and the knowledge person needed for theirs.

After we finished two cases of Asahi beer, everyone seem to be drunk. Ahey, Asahi is not the strong beer. Of course the person who drank it, are the strong guys te na! hahaha! lolz

Gift preparation

Before lunch time at the house of one girl went with us near Kampong Cham city, we had had to prepare all gifts into packages for easy way to share the poor childrens of Koh Kul elementary school.
